It was a great pleasure interviewing Diane - a beautiful, smart, passionate and very talented young lady. Some of her profound answers left us thinking for hours...
Here is what she said:
BWP: You started playing piano at the age of 5. How much did music help you evolve and overcome hardships that are an inseparable part of life?
Diane: Music saved my life in many ways, my piano lessons, as well as my admiration for Michael Jackson; he was my refuge, and the one who inspired me to take dancing and acting classes. He proved that you can do several things, and do them all in a good way. For the rest, my piano is my best friend, he knows my joys and my sorrows.
BWP: You are a model, pianist, dancer, actress, composer, singer, and a song-writer. Is there anything else that you would like to do but didn't try it yet?
Diane: Hahahaha, I don't even have time to do all the things I like, I can't think of something more to add to all of my passions.
BWP: How would you describe yourself in 5 words?
Diane: Perfectionist, stubborn, passionate, marginal and artist.
BWP: How many languages do you speak?
Diane: Fluently 3, French, English and Armenian.
BWP: You are born in France to Armenian parents. Therefore you are a "mixture" of Armenian and French culture. Is that an advantage or disadvantage for you?
Diane: And advantage for sure, it's a treasure to belong to many countries.
BWP: What should everybody know about Armenia?
Diane: That it has the most beautiful churches in the world.
BWP: What is the nicest thing someone has done for you?
Diane: Accept me as I am.
BWP: Today was just another workday for us until our art director turned on the loudspeakers and your music started playing. Then, everybody stopped doing whatever they were doing, and listened to your music as if they were hypnotized by it. Your music is full of passion and filled with an array of emotions and feelings. It is simply beautiful and amazing. Where do you find the inspiration for composing music?
Diane: Thank you. I have no idea, from above, or from inside me... or maybe both.
BWP: Do you compose predominantly when you are sad or happy?
Diane: I can compose anytime. That's my purpose in life.
BWP: Who is your favorite composer? Who influenced you the most?
Diane: In classical I like Beethoven very much, he has got very melancholic melodies. But I am a huge admirer of Chris Corner from IAMX. He's a genius, great music composer, and writer.
BWP: How did you get into the modeling business?
Diane: A friend of mine pushed me into that, it had never crossed my mind before.
BWP: What do you like and dislike about the modeling job?
Diane: The good thing it's that it's good for the ego, haha, the bad side is that people are very superficial is the fashion business.
BWP: What is the most romantic thing a guy has ever done for you?
Diane: Get my name tattooed on his chest.
BWP: What do you look for in men?
Diane: To be my best friend and confident, in whom I can trust with closed eyes.
BWP: If you had to choose between acting and music what would you choose?
Diane: Music definitely. That's why I'm down here.
BWP: Which role would you love to play in a Hollywood movie?
Diane: A main role in a musical, with singing and dancing, Broadway style, or a princess in an historical movie. I'm not asking much... :)
BWP: What would be your main advice to young girls that look-up to you?
Diane: Trust no one. This life is a huge farce.
BWP: What is the first thing you notice about people?
Diane: Their soul through their eyes.
BWP: Who is the most beautiful woman in the world to you?
Diane: For me beauty comes from the inside, and I admire smartness, talent, kindness and strength all mixed up with the physical appearance. Angelina Jolie is one of them.
BWP: Is physical beauty a curse or a blessing?
Diane: Both. It's REALLY difficult to make friends, especially girlfriends, and guys always try to get closer. Luckily, there is a "third gender" (gays)!
BWP: What are you the most proud of?
Diane: Nothing. I have done nothing yet.
BWP: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Diane: Travelling all around the world, doing my music, writing books, performing, playing in movies, and being free...
BWP: What is your life motto?
Diane: Life is a tragedy when seen in close-up, but a comedy in long-shot (Chaplin).
